Languages : hmong study language

Hmong language is one of the languages used in Thailand. Nowadays, the Hmong teenagers do not acknowledge their language because of the modernization of the society. They use the common language like Thai language to converse with each other and if this continues, 10 years from now the new generation of Hmong will be unable to speak and write their own language. Our team has compiled some of the common Hmong phrases on this website to promote this language to the Hmong youths and to those who are interested to learn.

kuv hlub koj means “I love you”  
Thov kom tau koob hmoov zoo means “Good luck” Thov txim means “Sorry”
Kuv lub npe hu ua taiv yiv means “My name is Hyee” Thaum twg means “When”
Ghov twg means “Where is the place?”  
Hnub no means “Today”
Neb tuaj ghov twg tuaj means “Where do you come from?” zoo saib tau tsis ntsib means “Nice to meet you”

haus dej means “Drinking” Tov nej pab kuv thiab means “Can you help me?”
Noj mov means “Have to eat” Ua tsaug daug means “Thank you very much”
Tsaus ntuj means “Evening” baus li ca means “How much?”
